Delete your Familj.se account

You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data tied to it. This page is the official URL for that process (for example for Google Play “Data safety” and account deletion rules).

Before you delete: You may lose access to saved content, checklists, and community posts tied to your account. Deletion cannot always be undone.

What we delete

After we verify your request, we delete or anonymise your account profile, login data, and content stored for your user where the law allows. We may keep a small amount of information if the law requires it (for example short billing or security logs), or fully anonymous statistics that cannot identify you.

How to request deletion (simple steps)

  1. Open the Familj.se app and go to Contact or Feedback (or use the in-app account delete option if your version has one).
  2. Send your request from the same email address you used to register, so we can confirm it is really you.
  3. Write clearly that you want your Familj.se account and personal data deleted. You can use the subject line: Familj.se — delete my account.

If you cannot open the app, send the same details from your registered email and explain that you cannot access the app. We may ask one or two extra questions only to protect your account from misuse.

How long it takes

We try to answer within a few working days and finish deletion within about 30 days. Copies in backups may disappear a little later, as is normal for cloud systems.

Data on your phone

Deleting your account on our servers does not remove files already stored on your device. To remove those, clear the app’s storage or uninstall Familj.se in your phone’s system settings.
